Sporting Future

Sporting Future

RPF will provide dynamic sports organisations with operational support, facilities and a reliable source of funding. Our resources will provide these organisations with the freedom to focus on what they do best: encouraging people of all ages to play sport, developing skills and talents for the future.

By redeveloping Raeburn Place to provide first-class sporting facilities, RPF will open up the ground to a wide range of sports and activities, available to all. Potential future uses of Raeburn Place include, but are not limited to:

  • Rugby
  • Cricket
  • Lacrosse
  • Hockey
  • Shinty
  • Softball
  • Football
  • Volleyball
  • Athletics
  • School sports' days

RPF will also promote individual health and fitness, with the inclusion of gym and pilates facilities, plus space for a variety of fitness classes.

RPF currently supports BATs and ACE through the provision of facilities, promotion and support. Both groups will increase their provision and impact dramatically once RPF is also able to provide financial support. RPF also supports Trust Rugby International (TRI) through the provision of facilities - Raeburn Place is the home ground for the Edinburgh Clan, with all their outdoor training taking place at the ground.
