Community sports benefits
As you will have seen from the progress photos on our website, the new building is taking shape, with completion and hand-over to our tenants scheduled for November. This element of the redevelopment is crucial to our financial sustainability and will allow us to start supporting community sports organisations such as BATs and Trust Rugby International.
In the current climate of childhood obesity, local authority cut backs and the drive for inclusivity, the provision and proliferation of team sports is vitally important. The Foundation will provide funding to increase the reach of the great work already being done by the groups we will initially support.
